Unique to traditional Tibetan visual art, mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning “world in harmony,” and is often used for meditation and healing. Designed for the beginning art enthusiast and educator who want to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for the visual, students will explore the world of color, shape, line and form, and create a series of mandala drawings and 3-D masks. </span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;"></span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;">Classes include supportive critiques of student work, as well as discussions of shared artistic concerns.
